HEPA belongs where the blower can carry it, which is not every house. We size it against static pressure in Aventura and Boca Raton, and in Highland Beach, where the units are often small and the ductwork short.

Two things decide whether HEPA belongs in a house: what you actually need filtered and how much pressure the blower can carry.

Questions we are asked here

Can any system take a HEPA filter?

No. True HEPA is very restrictive and most residential blowers cannot pull through it without losing airflow. We measure static pressure and say plainly whether yours can.

What is the alternative if mine cannot?

A high-grade media filter in a deep cabinet, which gets most of the benefit at a fraction of the resistance. For most houses that is the right answer.

Does HEPA help with humidity?

No. Filtration and moisture are separate problems, and a restrictive filter can make humidity slightly worse.
