Dania Beach is the oldest city in Broward County, and it shows in the housing: small mid-century homes a few blocks from the water, newer condo towers along the beach, and a working stretch near the port and the airport. Three different sets of HVAC problems in one small city.
AC installation in Dania Beach almost always has to account for salt. The city is narrow and the ocean is close to all of it, so a standard condenser coil corrodes faster here than it does five miles inland. When we quote a replacement near the water we talk about coil coating and about where the unit sits relative to prevailing wind, because those two decisions determine whether the system lasts eight years or fifteen.
